Helen Weighell BA MA

Helen is an arts psychotherapist registered with United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. She set up private practice in 2009, and joined the Bloomsbury Practice in 2012.

Helen uses a range of creativity collaboratively, alongside talking, as part of the therapeutic process. The arts can be powerful tools in therapy, helping express and explore emotions and patterns of relating. Using creativity this way can also lead to a more creative and fulfilled experience of life.

Helen has extensive experience, through her previous career in Higher Education, of working cross-culturally. She also has qualifications in counselling, working creatively with groups and training in cultural awareness.
